About Us

UK registered charity

EliezerTz is a UK registered charity that started out as an informal group dedicated to the message of Jesus providing help and support to the sick, poor, hungry, homeless, disabled and those without education in need of relief and has been working in Tanzania since 2014.

Operating in TZ

Now as an established Charity based in UK and operating in TZ, it seeks to continue the mission of helping others with a message of hope through a programme of measures in healthcare, education and employment aligned to government priorities working with local communities and commerce to improve the quality of life on a sustainable basis for those in need who have nowhere else to turn.

Current Programmes

Our current programmes are focused on helping disabled children with cerebral palsy and providing educational and employment support for women trapped in poverty.

Partners

In addition to funding its own initiatives, EliezerTz has a number of established non-governmental organisations operating across Tanzania with whom it partners and assists with technical and financial support. These include disability rehabilitation centres, hospitals, orphanages and inclusive education facilities.

Harnessing social responsibility

Our goal is to engage with communities and commerce harnessing corporate social responsibility in a targeted and prioritised way to provide relief where it is needed

Quality of life for disabled

Our objective is to improve the quality of life for disabled and give support to enable sustainable income for the poor and uneducated by training and development and helping to secure employment opportunities

Our name and logo

Eliezer is the name of Abraham’s servant who was sent to find a bride for his master’s son. Eliezer (which means God will help) prayed one of the first prayers in the bible and sought the providential hand of God that governs the affairs of everyday life to bless his mission with success (Genesis 24:1-61). So our mission is to provide practical help to those needing God’s love relying on Him to direct our path to those who need it most, and to bring the poor and the disabled and the blind and the lame to take their place at God’s table as His special guests, as Jesus taught in the Parable of the Dinner in Luke 14:16-24. We pray ‘God will help Tanzania’.
